Sarah Branner (Denver, USA)
Soon after moving to the small city by the bay, she began to attend yoga regularly at Studio South to balance the stress of her job and drastic lifestyle change.
A few years later she moved to Englewood, CO, where she completed her RYT teacher training at The Freyja Project. It was there that she discovered Ayurveda, a holistic medical system of ancient India. Compelled to expand, she started studying Ayurvedic textbooks and cookbooks during her free time.
Sarah appreciated the holistic approach of Ayurveda, a system created to prevent and treat disease, and/or maintain ultimate health even into old age. Thankfully, she realised how unhealthy her day-to-day lifestyle was making her feel - both in her body and mind, and decided to make a change.
Yearning to share this information with others, Sarah went on to complete a 650-hour certification as an Ayurvedic Health Counsellor from Kerala Ayurveda Academy in Milpitas, CA. She is now based in Denver, Colorado, USA.
Sarah now offers online Ayurvedic consultations to those who are seeking a more balanced lifestyle. She founded New Roots in 2019 and since COVID-19, is teaching free, well-rounded, weekly yoga classes. Her teaching reflects her holistic path and is influenced by western anatomy and physiology, yogic philosophy, the moon cycles and Ayurvedic wisdom. Together, you’ll become crystal clear on your goals and she’ll share tangible life tools, daily practices and educational materials to help you thrive and stay balanced.
